Welcome to the Greater Boston Life Sciences Corridor, home to the World’s Largest Cluster of Life Science and Biotech Companies, with more than 730 companies spanning five thriving communities all connected by the region's transit system. We warmly invite BIO 2018 guests from around the world to join us in exploring opportunities in life sciences and biotech across the Life Sciences Corridor and learn why this region is well positioned in offering a great location to live, work, and discover.

Boston’s Longwood Medical Area (LMA) is a thriving and innovative community of medical, academic, research and cultural organizations, home to over 56,000 scientists, researchers and staff, and over 22,000 students. At 213 acres, the LMA is one of the densest medical communities in the United States. The adjacent Fenway neighborhood (home of the Boston Red Sox!) complements the LMA with its vibrant mixture of uses ranging from entertainment and culture to education, tech offices, healthcare research, and residential. This tour begins with a mixed driving and walking tour through LMA and a comprehensive site visit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, including their new state-of-the-art lab building. We will discuss their work from bench to bedside, understand their vision for patient care, and learn how they develop corporate relationships. We will conclude our tour in The Fenway, with a pop-up reception hosted by Samuels & Associates at 401 Park - home to a growing space for high-tech, life sciences, and healthcare companies. This tour is recommended for clinicians, medical researchers, patient advocates, healthcare innovators, investors, and site selectors.

Food & beverage will be provided.
